Canoe Creek Christian Church exists to attract people to Jesus Christ and then help those people connect with Christ and other Christian people.

Our purpose is to see people become committed followers of Jesus Christ. We believe this will happen when we learn about God, and live and love like Jesus Christ together.

We believe in equipping people for ministry so that they can be an encouragement and servant to God's Church.

We are an independent church, in that we are not governed by any outside denominational structure. We elect our own leaders that are full of the Spirit and wisdom (Acts 6:3).

We believe it is the duty of this leadership to guide Canoe Creek Christian Church into the actions of the early church; continuing in the Apostles doctrine, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer (Acts 2:42).

We believe in supporting outreach, locally, nationally, and internationally. Because of this we seek to meet the pressing needs of our community in the name of Jesus Christ (which is the only name by which we can be saved-Acts 4:12.) as well as recognize needs globally and seek to meet those needs in the name of Christ.   

We seek to be nondenominational, encouraging all believers to put aside man-made creeds and titles. We call ourselves “Christians” (Acts 11:26), and use the Bible as our only rule of faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16, 17).
